Labor Day Series
Getting to know Kerri Paul
In honor of my blog launch this Labor Day weekend, I am kicking off this launch with a Labor Day Series.
This series will chronicle my life as a mother, a wife, and a fiery, natural woman who prides herself on self-care. Or “Self Kerr” as I like to call it. Each post will be an introduction to every aspect of my life that I am excited to share.
Across my site, you will find categories that reflect my personality, with a play on my name, Kerri Paul. Over the years, I have explored the world of blogging. I started a personal blog while I was in college, and my love for story-telling has been strong ever since.
Serving Mom Realness With a Dash of Sass
The reason why I use this as a tagline is because it embodies my personality in one sentence.
3 Pauls in a Pod
As a mom to three toddlers, the Paul babies, my life is anything but quiet. Throughout this journey, I will be giving my personal account of what life is like with my twins, Jules and Jeanne, and their little sister, Joie. I sometimes like to call them triplets because Joie was born just a year and a half after her brother and sister. So, yea. 2014-2016 was all about our 3 Pauls in a Pod. You can also find me under the guise of “Kerri 3 Kids Later.”
If you know me, then you know that I am always on go-mode! My schedule can become chaotic, and I have my hand in a little bit of everything. When it comes to blogging, I need a space where all of my random stories can live. With Kerr Package, you never know what wisdom I’m going to drop on you.
As a busy mom and wife, self-care becomes more of a necessity than a privilege. In my humble opinion, self-care is important because if we as mothers and wives neglect to be our best selves FOR OURSELF, how can we possibly be the best for the people that need us? Kerrapy will serve as regular therapy for moms and wives who need inspiration, ideas, and motivation to put self-care first. Readers will begin to feel better mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. As a result, those around them will feel the good vibes as well.
Who doesn’t LOVE a naturalista? The experience of being natural is a liberating one. Going against the grain of societal norms, coupled with the love for ones natural appearance is beautiful. Having been natural for years, I still fall in love with my hair each and every day. Being natural is a fun and rewarding experience (once you get the styling techniques down, of course). But, that’s what I’m here for! I’ll be sharing my tips and tricks on maintaining natural hair. I hope that in the process, I can inspire and empower other natural women, and learn more about myself in return.
So Get Comfortable…
This Labor Day weekend while you all are relaxing and enjoying the 3-day-weekend, take some time becoming familiar with me, my family and my interests.
